BRAND REFRESH
Basic Rights Oregon
I led the design team in the rebranding of Basic Rights Oregon. The goal of the rebrand was to create a concise visual language that reflects the organization’s mission of championing the rights of all LGBTQ2SIA+ Oregonians. The new logo is bold and direct, reflecting the fundamental notion of basic rights, while the geographic outline of Oregon rests on the word mark, symbolizing the role our state plays in the fight for equality. In addition to the iconic mark and a set of new logos for their education and advocacy efforts, we created messaging and brand guidelines that included color usage and typographic rules for all outgoing communications.
